I am delighted to share that I was nominated for the Most Innovative Teacher of the Year at the THE Awards Arab World 2025 by Times Higher Education. With a large number of submissions received this year (around 700), I appreciate the recognition and the opportunity it brings to highlight our collective work at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business, AUB.

The nomination reflects efforts to integrate technology, data-driven enquiry, and human-centred design into teaching, supported through ongoing collaboration with students and colleagues. Initiatives such as Design2Transform, data driven stories, ERPsim competition, as well as courses in enterprise systems, data visualization, and recent work on leading with AI in business have all contributed to shaping this direction. These efforts aim to provide practical learning experiences that help students think critically and address real-world challenges responsibly.

I will not be able to attend the awards ceremony, but I remain grateful to everyone I work with across the school and university. This recognition is shared with them and reflects our collective commitment to improving learning and teaching.
